  As Predicted by every one India has won the first test comprehensively against Pak with 6 wickets to spare, requiring just 32 runs of entire last day’s play India reached the target within the 30 mins itself. In the process Ganguly was out without adding a single run to his score of 48 in the bowling of Akthar, but Sachin on the other end played brilliantly and reached his 48th Fifty and remained not-our for 29th time with Lakshman also unbeaten on 6.

With this victory India lead the Indian Oil cup Series 1-0 and is heading towards one more series victory against Pak. Second Test will start on Nov 30th in Eden Gardens, Calcutta. Once again Ferozshah Kotla Ground proved lucky to Kumble and he also was the Man-of-the-Match of this test for his brilliant bowling in both innings and he took 7 wickets in this match.
