  1st Test is in a very intereting stage and India has closed their day with 230/6 on board with Lakshman & Kumble in the crease. Pak who has started their day at 210/8 were all-out in short time for 231 with Misabul Haq getting run-out for the throw of Dinesh Karthik when he jumped in the air trying to avoid the ball hitting him and was in the air above crease when ball hit stumps, an unfortunate way to get run-out after playing such a long innings.

India has lost wicket of Dinesh Karthik before lunch, but 50 runs Partnership between Jaffer & Dravid brought some light to India and once Jaffer was out LBW in the bowling of Shoaib Akthar wickets fell in no time making India score just 98 runs for loss of 5 wickets. Sachin was unfortunately run-out for 1 run when he tried to take a non-existent second run and really that was turning point of match and Ganguly & Dravid were bowled in the bowling of Sohail Tanvir. But the Partnership between Dhoni & Lakshman made sure that India doesn’t score less than Pak 1st innings score and also they both scored half-centuries. During the cloase of the day Dhoni was stumped in the bowling of Dinesh Kaneria for well played 57 runs.
