As everyone expected and predicted 2nd Test match has ended in a draw. India has scored quick 44 runs in 7 overs and kept 345 runs ahead of Pak to chase it in 81 overs. Pak had two options either to play for win or a draw as the required run-rate is just above 4. But they had also in mind that if they lose early wickets then even draw could be difficult. But they started with some positive attitude but lost wickets early and at one stage they were 78/4 with both centurions of 1st innings Akmal & Misabul back in the Pavilion. India had a good chance at this stage and if they have picked any one of the two Y’s Younis or Yousuf then it would have been very interesting. But it didn’t happen and both Y’s tested patience of Indian bowling and remained unbeaten with one more century to Younis and both captains agreed for a draw before one hour of Day’s play. We have to wait for 3rd & Final test in Bangalore to decide whether India wins a series against Pak.
