Misabul stood once again between India & Victory and his excellent touch with the bat in this series continued in this match too and he remained unbeaten at 133 runs when Pak were all-out at last after making a big score of 537 runs giving just a lead of 89 runs to India. His partnerships of 144 runs with Kamran Akmal first and 93 runs partnership with Yasir Arafat made Pak to reach big score not giving India a big lead. Match is heading into one more draw unless some dramatical situations happen in the morning. The only positive for India was Ishant Sharma picking his first 5-wicket haul. He bowled well in patches and stayed mostly wide off the stumps but he utilized his height 6′4″ very well with the new ball on Day-4 and picked up last 4 wickets of Pak. Indians will be happy with the draw as they remain as series winners against Pak after 27 years in Indian soil. But on other side if Pak want to win and level series the only way is to bowl-out India cheaply in the morning session and chase the score, which looks most unlikely as India already lead by 220 runs with 8 wickets in hand and Pitch not helping the bowlers that much as expected. The next option for Pak is if India score quickly and keep some challenging target ahead of them to chase, but India might not take that risk of giving Pak to chase as they are already ahead in the series and might be happy with the draw.

Pak had a chance at one stage to pick wickets of India with very less score and bowling them out. India has lost both openers for just 26 runs on the board, but Ganguly’s brilliance and Dravid’s patience made sure that India don’t give any chance to Pak and finished the day’s play at 131 runs without losing any other wicket and Ganguly has made unbeaten 63 runs. Even though there are lot of cracks on the pitch and though they are getting widened it’s not causing a big problem for batsmen except odd ball keeping low.
